This Polish Kielbasa Rodizio Recipe grilled over and open flame using a Carson Kit - Weber Genesis Gas Grill set up is as easy and as tasty as it gets! Pick any sausage of your choice and the results will be the same!

*Before we fire up the grill,  do an quick equipment and ingredients check to make sure we have everything we need to pull off this recipe?


1 Carson Kit

1 Carson Small Skewer

A Weber Genesis e-310 Gas Grill

A large cookie sheet

A Sharp Knife (I love this knife!)

A good pair of tongs

At least a 1/4 tank of propane

A Large cutting board

Yield: 10 - 1.6 oz Links

1 pound of kielbasa

Do you have everything listed above and is all of it in fine fresh working order?

Yes - (Then proceed to getting your grill on!)

No - (Either roll with what you got or wait until you're ready to rock.)

Prep Directions

Step 1.) Turn on your Weber Genesis e-310 and run it wide open. Your grill needs to be as hot as it can get. 

Step 2.) Slice the kielbasa in to 3 to 4 inch links.

Step 3.) One by one take the small skewer and skewer through the middle of each link.

Step 4.) Do a manual spin test to make sure the sausage is skewered tightly.

Now you're ready to spin your meat!

Grilling Directions

Step 1.) Place loaded skewer on bottom row and let grill for about 0 minutes or until it reaches the color you see in slide 3.  

Carving Directions

Step 1.) Slice evenly right off the skewer or serve on to plates right off the skewer.

*Slice as much as you like or re-season with your favorite rub and place back on the grill (Top Row) until ready for more!

These directions are just a guideline. Follow it as closely as you can the first few times. Once you feel you're getting more comfortable with the technique, then try to turn it up a bit by putting your own spin, rub, home made sausage on it!
