This Gorgonzola Glazed Top Sirloin recipe is a no brainer, lick your lips, hurry up and fire up your pits crowd pleaser that you must learn how to grill RIGHT NOW!

*Before we fire up the grill, lets do a quick equipment and ingredients check to make sure we have everything we need for this recipe?


1 Carson Kit

1 Carson Medium Skewer

A Weber Genesis e-310 Gas Grill

A large cookie sheet

A Sharp Knife (I love this knife!)

A good pair of tongs

At least a 1/4 tank of propane

A Large cutting board

Sauce Pan or Small Skillet

A Basting Brush

Yield: 30 - 1oz Slices

1 whole Top Sirloin Cap 

1 cup of Gorgonzola Cheese

1/4 cup of Milk

Kosher Salt

Do you have everything listed above and is all of it in fine fresh working order?

Yes - (Then proceed to getting your grill on!)

No - (Either roll with what you got or wait until you're ready to rock.)

Prep Directions

Step 1.) Turn on your Weber Genesis e-310 and run it wide open. Your grill needs to be as hot as it can get.  

Step 2.) Slice the top sirloin cap against the grain into 2 to 4 thick pieces. Each slice should be no thicker than 4 inches. (See slide 3)

Step 3.) Fold each piece into a "C" shape then skewer directly through the middle of the medallion careful not to skewer your hand. (see slide 4)

Step 4.) Sprinkle kosher salt all over the skewered sirloin. (See slide 5)

Now you're ready to spin your meat!

Grilling Directions

Step 1.) Place loaded skewer on bottom row and let grill for about 30 minutes or until it reaches the color you see in slide 6.

*If you want to get real cheeky with it then slap the sirloin down on the conventional side of the grill for about 3 minutes each side like you see in slide 7.

Step 2.) While your meat is finishing up, place your skillet on the conventional side of the grill and melt down the cheese with about a 1/4 cup of milk like you see in slide 8.

Step 3.) Stir the cheese sauce until it gets to the consistency you see in slide 9.

Let that spin a minute or two longer then clang the dinner bell because its time to get your nosh on! 

Carving Directions

Step 1.) Slice evenly down one side of the sirloin like you see in slide 10. You may need a crying towel because this shit's amazing!

*Slice as much as you like or re-season and place back on the grill (Top Row) until everyone is ready for more!

Now remember these directions are just a guideline. Follow it as closely as you can the first few times. Once you feel you're getting more comfortable with it, then try to turn it up a bit by putting your own spin on it. Maybe try a different cheese with heavy cream or if you're feeling really freaky how about using flavored milk instead of regular milk?
